If you are pregnant or have just had a baby, you may be concerned about coronavirus. As far as we know, pregnant women do not seem to have an increased risk of being infected with coronavirus: they do not seem to be more susceptible to the virus than individuals who are not pregnant. Pregnant women do have a higher risk of becoming seriously ill from COVID-19. Therefore, it is recommended that they be vaccinated with an m-RNA vaccine and it is important to follow the applicable measures carefully.

Because of the increasing contamination, we ask everyone who comes to the practice to wear a mouth mask. We notice that many people still forget to bring a mouth mask. With this measure, the government wants to prevent the spread of the coronavirus. If you wear a mouth mask, you protect especially the people around you. If they wear a mouth mask, they are protecting you.

Furthermore, it is fine to come alone as much as possible your partner should. If there are many people at the same time in the health centers and sitting in the waiting rooms, this again gives a greater chance of passing on the coronavirus.

Have you had contact with someone with corona? Prevent the spread of the virus and get tested, even if you have no symptoms yourself. Whether you need to go into quarantine depends on your situation. Always let us know if you do test positive.

If you still have additional concerns about the coronavirus, feel free to call us. We will be happy to speak with you or schedule an additional appointment with you to discuss these concerns. Please also check the website of the RIVM for all information.

We look forward to seeing you in practice again soon.
